Dhuri

junction. From Dhuri, one can take trains for Patiala, Bathinda,
Sangrur, and Ludhiana routes. This small town is known in Punjab for its
industries. The oldest of them is Bhagwanpura Sugar Mills, which is now
situated almost in the heart of the town due to its expansion. The
Delhi-based KRBL Limited, producer of the India Gate brand of basmati
rice started a plant in Dhuri in 2005 after buying a closed Oswal Agro
